Pudina Chutney / Mint Chutney for rice


Mint gives a refreshing flavour. This Mint chutney is a flavourful dish that tastes delicious when mixed with rice.

  Ingredients:
  • Green chilly- 3
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Pudina / Mint leaves - 1 cup
  • Grated Coconut - 1/3 cup
  • Pottu Kadalai / Fried Gram /  Roasted Bengal Gram - 1/3 cup
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
 

Method:
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add green chillies, garlic, mint leaves (pudina) and saute for 2 minutes.
  2. Now add grated coconut, salt and saute for a minute.
  3. Turn off the flame and allow to cool down.
  4. Grind the above along with fried gram.
  5. Serve with rice varieties.
