Mushroom Quesadilla



The origin of Quesadilla is from Mexico. Now Quesadillas have been adapted to many  different style. You can make tasty quesadilla at home with the flavour of your choice.

Quesadilla

 
Ingredients:
  • Spring Onions / Green onions (chopped)
  • Tomatoes – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum / Bell Pepper – 1 (chopped)
  • Green Chillies – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Spinach – 1/2 cup (chopped)
  • Mushrooms – 1/2 cup (chopped)
  • Garlic Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Flour Tortillas
  • Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 
 


Method:
  1. Heat 1 table spoon oil in a non-stick pan.
  2. Add the vegetables one by one and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add Salt, Garlic Powder and mix well.
  4. Allow to cook until most of the juices dry up and set aside.
  5. Drizzle 1 table spoon oil in a non-stick skillet / tawa
  6. Place one flour tortilla over the oil and immediately flip over.
  7. Cook until light golden brown.
  8. Flip over and spread cheese over the tortilla.
  9. Spread vegetable mixture over the cheese.
  10. Fold the tortilla and flip over.
  11. Cook until the cheese has  melted.
  12. Serve hot.
